BATHYMETRIC SURVEYS

IOTA SURVEY carries out in-depth bathymetric surveys, with the best data acquisition and interpretation and mapping techniques available.

APPLICATIONS :

Offshore oil sector: surveys before pipe installation rig move of drilling
platforms and sub-sea structures..
Submarine cables (energy and telecommunications):
Route surveys before laying, detailed survey of landfall areas
surveillance of scouring areas.
Operations in harbour and coastal areas: surveys before and after
dredging.

The surveys are carried out using PA 500, ODOM (ECHOTRAC, HYDROTRAC), ELAC (HYDROSTAR) Multibeam and other echo sounders from a ship chartered by IOTA SURVEY or by the Client, suitable for the operation and the area in question. In addition, a side scan sonar, magnetometer, sediment probe, etc. are also used if necessary, when a more thorough survey of the sea floors is required (location of debris, obstructions, etc.). IOTA SURVEY also proposes an ROV video survey as an additional service.
Positioning & navigation are carried out by DGPS, RTK or Total Station.
