IOTA SURVEY is an independent French company based in Montpellier, France.
It specialises in technical assistance and the provision of offshore services, primarily for the oil industry.                                   Positioning and Survey: sub-sea survey, bathymetry / mapping, structure inspection.

Thanks to its experience on West African coasts, IOTA SURVEY has opened two branches in this region: in Douala (Cameroon) and
Port Gentil (Gabon). In addition to their marketing role, the African branches serve as a logistics base for IOTA SURVEY France for all projects in the Gulf of Guinea.

HISTORY
IOTA SURVEY was set up using private funds in 1996 by Patrick Bougier and Jean-Jacques Forssant and initially focussed on personnel assistance for offshore operations (supply of engineers, technicians, customer service representatives, etc. to companies in the Oil and Gas sector) and the development of navigation software.

Since then, IOTA SURVEY has expanded in all the “survey” fields mentioned above. Our African branches in Cameroon and Gabon were set up in 2002 and 2003.

PERSONNEL AND SUPERVISION
IOTA SURVEY has about 40 employees: hydrographers, geophysicists, experts in positioning and navigation system management, oceanographers, cartographers, electronic engineers, ROV pilots.
All of them are highly experienced in operations at sea and speak English.
